POLICY/ Geoscience is essential to new UK Hydrogen Strategy
Hydrogen is essential to the UK's decarbonisation strategy because it can deliver or store large amounts of energy.
Last week, the UK Government published its Hydrogen Strategy ahead of the UN Climate Summit COP26 taking place in Glasgow this November. The strategy outlines the opportunity for hydrogen to decarbonise heavy industry, power, heating, and some aspects of transport in the UK.
Find out more about the role of geoscience in a hydrogen economy.

EVENTS/ Careers Days - Call for Sponsors
We are seeking sponsors for our virtual Careers Days, which will run from 13 to 15 October. The Careers Days are an opportunity for undergraduates and postgraduates to find out about the latest career developments and opportunities across our sector, as well as a chance for them to receive interview, CV and networking advice from professionals.
Last year we had over 800 registrants, so this is a great opportunity to promote your business in front of the next generation of geoscientists. Please view our sponsorship pack or get in touch for more information. |
